I have had some issues with technical climbs, was told my free hub was part of my issue. Didn’t have money for a wheel set up grade, but this new ibis free hub for 69$ was a great compromise. Install was straight forward, thanks to many YouTube videos. I noticed a big difference immediately.
I buy from thunder mountain because it is not a variable,I can count on them.

The shop has a good assortment of parts available for a variety of bikes. I purchased a wheel and the shop installed my preference for a hub and shipped it to me very quickly, I received it same week.

The cap fit as expected on the Microspline hub of Trek Line Comp wheel.

This chainring has a 0mm offset, in comparison to the previous generation SM-CRM85 3mm offset. If you have the previous generation M7100/8100/9100 cranks, go with the previous generation chainring as well.

The CRM86 has great fit and finish, and does upgrade the look of the bike in my opinion, but changes your chain line by 3mm outboard.
