BIKE RENTAL FAQS

Want to know about everything included your bike rental? Have questions about our rental process?

It's likely your questions have been asked--and answered--before!

To get you set up and out on the trails fast, we've compiled the most common questions we've been asked about our bike rentals in Sedona:

Of course! We have the largest mtb-dedicated fleet in Sedona! From pro-level, full-suspension shredders, to economical and classic hardtails, we have a ride to fit every trail and skill level. Our lineup includes Sedona-proven selections from Evil, Trek, Juliana, Santa Cruz, Rocky Mountain, and more. Find your perfect rental bike in our current fleet here.

Please give yourself about 30 minutes to pick up your bike, get fitted, learn about our incredible trails, and plan the perfect route for your Sedona ride!

Yes! All rentals include helmets. We provide entry-level helmets such as the Bontrager Solstice or similar. Helmets are not required, but we encourage you to wear one whenever on a bike.

Yes! All rentals include pedals. You can check out our rental pedal options here! Feel free to bring your own as well and we’ll be happy to spin them on for your rental.

Yes! We have a limited supply of Osprey packs available. If they’re available at the time of your rental, you’re welcome to borrow one at no charge. You will need to supply your own bladder or water bottles.

This type of gear gets a bit dirtier and a bit sweatier… So, while you might share these with friends, due to the potential *gross* factor, we do not offer this type of gear for rent. Please make sure to bring along your own or pick up some new gear from our shop if you forget something at home

Yes and no. You’re welcome to bring attachable biking accessories, however we cannot guarantee that they will fit our bikes. We may also not be able to assist you with installing them either, but we're happy to help with minor adjustments.

Yes, if you prefer this alternative brake setup, please let us know before you pick up your rental. We’re happy to swap these parts around on most of our bikes.

Yes! Every rental bike includes a flat kit. Kits include at least: Tube(s), entry-level pump, entry-level multi-tool, tire levers. Flat kits are not attached to the bikes. You will need a way to carry them.

No, we do not. Most trails in and around Sedona are not suited to riding with very young children.

Our bikes are intended for daylight use only, and do not come installed with road safety equipment. We do not offer mirrors, lights, bells, or flags for rent, but they are available for purchase. If you would like to have any additional safety items installed for your ride, please contact us with details of your request.

Car racks are available for rent at $10 per day. Racks are available in-store only. We do not book them in advance (Don't worry, we have plenty!) When picking up your rental car, be aware of SUVs with rear plastic spoilers as they are very flimsy and will not hold three full suspension bikes safely.  Learn about our car racks here!

Truck tailgate pads are FREE! In fact, if you're getting a rental car, we strongly encourage you to rent a truck vs. a regular car. A mid-size truck (F150) will hold four people and four bikes easily! Tailgate pads are not available to reserve, but we have plenty. Learn about our tailgate pads here!

Sometimes rides don't go quite as planned. We get it. That's why we include a basic damage plan at no extra cost for every rental bike. In case of dings, breaks, or total wipe-outs of our bikes, our included plan will lessen the sting. Check out the details of our rental damage policy here!

Yes! But, there may be a line for it. If you'd like to purchase any of our rental bikes, please let us know in-shop and we'll add you to the call-back list for when we retire that bike. We regularly post retired rental bikes of all types for sale. You can sign up to receive email notifications about them by subscribing to our "Bike Deals" list here!

Yes! We offer up to $200 of your rental fees towards the purchase of the bike you rode (or a new one). Taxes and car rack rental charges do not apply. Rental fees cannot be shared. Your rental fees will be deducted from your new bike only.
