This upgrade kit is a must on the maven brakes. I have been running the sram code RSC, which have great modulation compared to the stock Maven bronze which are a powerful brake that lock your tires up with hardly any pressure on the lever.After putting this upgrade kit on the maven brakes they feel a lot more like the code RSC, way more control and feathering of the braking.I am using them on a specialized levo 3 E bike.

These are very nice brake levers and they work much better than the upper XT series. Easy to bleed and easy to adjust. Why did I choose these over the XT series. The XT series brake levers are more difficult to bleed and adjust due to the brake pads contact adjustment screw. The fit form and functionality is there 100% and on top of that Shimano Quality.
