We currently offer both economy and expedited shipping options through FedEx and USPS.
Most orders totaling over $69 before tax are eligible to ship for free via an economy ground option of our choice.
Due to larger box sizes, handlebars, wheels, and other oversized items, an additional shipping fee will be applied.
Most bikes ship for only $200 within the continental US. Bike shipping to AK, HI, or PR is usually $350, but may incur additional fees depending on the exact delivery location.
If you're in need of something super-quick, please contact us directly. We may be able to overnight your order with an additional fee, depending on your location.
Should there be an issue with the item you bought, or if you no longer need your purchase, we will be happy to set up a return.
Returns may be requested within sixty (60) days of the delivery date. All returned items must be received in new, unused, and uninstalled condition, with the original tags and labels attached and in the original packaging. We cannot accept returns on any items that have been installed or show wear of any kind.
Returns or exchange requests for bikes must be requested by emailing us at sedona@thundermountainbikes.com within fifteen (15) days from the date of delivery. Bikes must be in un-ridden condition. Custom-built bikes may not be returned. Returned bikes incur a $200 restocking fee, and the customer is responsible for the return shipping costs.
Customers are responsible for return shipping fees and may choose the carrier of their choice to handle their product return. We no longer provide shipping labels directly.

We will process your return after receiving your returned item(s) and inspecting their condition. Please allow at least seven (7) days from the receipt of your item to process your refund. We will notify you by email when your return has been processed. All refunds will be returned to the original payment method. No store credit or other refund methods are available.

I slapped two of the Trail/Endurance RE on my Canfield and I still can’t believe how good these are. I live in the Desert southwest for reference and the traction is unbelievable on everything I’ve thrown at it. Loose dry rock, hard packed kitty litter, sand, sharp rock you name it. Our trails are very XC oriented with some killer rough downhill sections and I was very surprised with how compliant yet stiff the casings were. No tire squirm at 24.5F 26.5R at 210lbs. They roll very good for how aggressive they are. Super predictable break away as well, I know exactly when they are going to let loose and they don’t just lose all grip at once. Absolute favorite tire to date. They also DO NOT lose traction on steep loose climbs.
Well… I absolutely love this tire, it is just great. If you get the enduro casing it’s also very affordable! Love the side waffles to help shed dirt, works really well. Love the entire thing. This tire give me great traction on the rear with a 2.6”size i also purchased a second tire for the front in the same size too can’t wait to put it on it’s no joke
Not like a maxxis is with 3 different compounds and the fail this tire is one compound and very durable
The 29 was semi tight to mount compared to the 27.5 which was like mounting a motorcycle tire. The most popular tires are such in part due to no tire levers being required. I wish this was the case with the Kryptotals. Not sure how they handle, as they haven't seen dirt yet, but they look and feel like they will perform very well. I wanted to try something new and compare.

This tire is great. I recently had a fairly new Maxxis DHRII EXO+ come apart at the middle seam causing an unsealable puncture at the top of a bike park lift run. Ran this Conti at Snowshoe, WV and already really impressed. The only downside is that it was by far the worst tire to install that I've ever done. The front install was the same; absolutely awful. Next time I'm paying some poor soul at a bike shop to put a Conti DH casing tire on. Worth the hassle once it's on. Great tire.

I'm a pretty aggressive single-track guy ups downs roots rocks mud dust whatever. I ran conti trail kings for ever without fear untill the stopped making them in the 27.5x2.6 (small plus sized). Tries maxxas minions (lots of flats and a couple shredded tires) until I tried the new kryptotal in the 27.5x2.6. So far they work amazing BUT... no matching front tire in sight! What gives? Works great on the rear (make sure it's on the right direction seriously different experience) but what am I supposed to run on the front?
It makes dirt feel like I'm on pavement....best tire I've ever owned...

Excellent rear Tire where terrain is hard pack, loose over hard pack. Rock Gardens...side walls are a little on the stiff side...but great protection from damage do to sharp edges...hooks up well on Berms. I have the Enduro casing soft compound. Highly Recommend this tires to all .They are a great all arounder . I'm using a 29x 2.4 ( r ). I will give an update on tread wear in future. Thx a Mil to All at Thunder Mountain!!! I received my order in a timely manor . After installing the new tire to my bicycle & going for a ride, i was very satisfied with the tires all-around performance . It is a very nice tire for pavement & also off-road ,trail riding .. It's a very quiet tire on the pavement at all speeds , & offers great traction in off-road journeys , A tire i would deffinately purchase again .

Got these to replace the factory Specialized tires on my Stumpjumper and oh man what an improvement! They grip well and look good too. I wanted to be different and not put on the Maxxis and I’m glad I did, these tires should be more commonplace in the industry!

Great tires mounted kryptotal R frnt and rear , great breaking grip, roll well, wear is excellent ( rough rocky surface)
Some additional details about this do-everything tire with exceptional hook-up and grip. It IS a bear to get on a rim- not the hardest tire I've ever put on, but up there. Also, as to the question of weight (trail enduro casing rear), did about 4100' of climbing in the Blue Ridge on it one day and never noticed any noticeable weight issues (prior tire was a Nobby Nic). Same on two other days of 2000' plus of climbing. Only had it spin on a tech climb on me one time in three days of Blue ridge riding, on damp timbers, and even then I was able to get a second pedal stroke in - which I never got to do on prior tire at same spot when damp. Great tire, I'm sold. ready to try one up front.
