We currently offer both economy and expedited shipping options through FedEx and USPS.
Most orders totaling over $69 before tax are eligible to ship for free via an economy ground option of our choice.
Due to larger box sizes, handlebars, wheels, and other oversized items, an additional shipping fee will be applied.
Most bikes ship for only $200 within the continental US. Bike shipping to AK, HI, or PR is usually $350, but may incur additional fees depending on the exact delivery location.
If you're in need of something super-quick, please contact us directly. We may be able to overnight your order with an additional fee, depending on your location.
Should there be an issue with the item you bought, or if you no longer need your purchase, we will be happy to set up a return.
Returns may be requested within sixty (60) days of the delivery date. All returned items must be received in new, unused, and uninstalled condition, with the original tags and labels attached and in the original packaging. We cannot accept returns on any items that have been installed or show wear of any kind.
Returns or exchange requests for bikes must be requested by emailing us at sedona@thundermountainbikes.com within fifteen (15) days from the date of delivery. Bikes must be in un-ridden condition. Custom-built bikes may not be returned. Returned bikes incur a $200 restocking fee, and the customer is responsible for the return shipping costs.
Customers are responsible for return shipping fees and may choose the carrier of their choice to handle their product return. We no longer provide shipping labels directly.

We will process your return after receiving your returned item(s) and inspecting their condition. Please allow at least seven (7) days from the receipt of your item to process your refund. We will notify you by email when your return has been processed. All refunds will be returned to the original payment method. No store credit or other refund methods are available.

YES, yes it is, both the xynotal and the kryptotal tires are great. The enduro casing is amazingly tuff. And the soft compound is greatly grippy! Love these tires! Got the 29’ers and the role over power is great! Kinda thick sidewall that makes bumps a little bit sensitive but it’s worth it for the cornering support! Thanks for the read. Everything you want in a rear tire for hard pack and slick rock. Fast rolling and grippy. Very comparable to Maxxis Dissector but even better 👌🏼

Mile 9, complete side wall blown out-bead to tread!! I was running 23 PSI-Nobel TR35 rims w/Orange Seal. I am not sure if this is a manufacturing defect or what would have caused this? Great traction and, damp ride feel but is not the fastest rolling tire, a little heavy. I've reached out to Conti but haven't heard back yet.
Finally an alternative to Maxxis. This tire has low rolling resistance. Similar to the Maxxis aggressor or dissector. It has better cornering grip than the aggressor, similar to the dissector. Overall it has good traction. You can feel the stiffer sidewalls in a good way. I'm riding with 2 psi less than I did with my previous Maxxis tires and the Xynotal feels great. Good braking perormance. I'm riding the enduro soft compound. It rides great in dry, rocky, loose over hardpack terrain.
Holding air great on my tubeless setup. Have them on my Specialized Enduro Comp. Have not had time to test them out, maybe I can update once I do
Less rolling resistance than the kryp Re, but also less braking traction and cornering traction. Still plenty of both, but the krypt Re has gobs. This tire in the rear is more fun than the krypt Re if you like a bit of drift in the corners or are more playful. Equivalent climbing traction to the krypt Re in all situations except for notably less on wet rocks.

I have a lot of time on the Xynotal in Enduro casing Soft, and also on the DH casing Soft, as a rear tire. it breaks loose in corners just a bit sooner than the Kryptotal RE, climbs almost as good and is a great FAST rolling option for the back. Enduro casing is very tough, DH , even more so. The Enduro Soft has GREAT tread life. For a Maxxis comparison think of it as a more burly Dissector, it grips more everywhere than the Dissector in my testing. and lasts a LONG time. great tire if you dont need the bigger DHRII style of treat pattern of the Kryptotal RE.
Love it for a back tire. Grippy, predictable, and if it wears as well as my other Contis then I’ll be very happy with longevity. So far, so good. Also, the soft and super soft compounds are made in Germany - nice to know that someone manufacturing our toys is making a decent wage and had good working conditions.
27.5x2.4" in the Enduro/Soft, on the rear. Currently paired with a 27.5x2.4" Kryptotal Enduro/Soft front. I have a Kryptotal Re that I'll be testing at some point.
This tire has no business being as fast as it is. The grip is incredible and it just rolls. It was immediately noticeable from the 2.5" Maxxis Aggressor (3CT, EVO, low miles) that it replaced. Climbing and braking grip are excellent. Cornering grip balances well with the stout Kryptotal Fr, so it doesn't cause the bike to understeer but isn't sliding around (unless you want it to...).
