We currently offer both economy and expedited shipping options through FedEx and USPS.
Most orders totaling over $69 before tax are eligible to ship for free via an economy ground option of our choice.
Due to larger box sizes, handlebars, wheels, and other oversized items, an additional shipping fee will be applied.
Most bikes ship for only $200 within the continental US. Bike shipping to AK, HI, or PR is usually $350, but may incur additional fees depending on the exact delivery location.
If you're in need of something super-quick, please contact us directly. We may be able to overnight your order with an additional fee, depending on your location.
Should there be an issue with the item you bought, or if you no longer need your purchase, we will be happy to set up a return.
Returns may be requested within sixty (60) days of the delivery date. All returned items must be received in new, unused, and uninstalled condition, with the original tags and labels attached and in the original packaging. We cannot accept returns on any items that have been installed or show wear of any kind.
Returns or exchange requests for bikes must be requested by emailing us at sedona@thundermountainbikes.com within fifteen (15) days from the date of delivery. Bikes must be in un-ridden condition. Custom-built bikes may not be returned. Returned bikes incur a $200 restocking fee, and the customer is responsible for the return shipping costs.
Customers are responsible for return shipping fees and may choose the carrier of their choice to handle their product return. We no longer provide shipping labels directly.
For any return shipping questions, please email us at sedona@thundermountainbikes.com after submitting your return request so that we can confirm the shipping information you should use to return your item(s).
We will process your return after receiving your returned item(s) and inspecting their condition. Please allow at least seven (7) days from the receipt of your item to process your refund. We will notify you by email when your return has been processed. All refunds will be returned to the original payment method. No store credit or other refund methods are available.

Thunder Mountain had the best deal on these levers. Living in Arizona, I was able to support a local business. Smooth purchase and fast shipping. Used them with some GRX calipers to convert drop bar to flat bar gravel bike.
We bought these Deore BL-M6100 brake levers to upgrade from from the stock Tektro levers that came on the Specialized Turbo Vado 4.0 SL. The Deore levers feel really solid and mechanically smooth. Bleeding was easy and the resulting braking paired with Shimano SLX BR-M7110 calipers is amazing. Also, we have purchased from Thunder Mountain Bikes on multiple occasions, and everytime, the shipping has been really fast.
I've had to replace my brake lever because of a crash. I wasn't ready to upgrade any parts, so decided to just buy a new lever. TMB had the lowest price and the shipping was super fast! It also came with a sticker!
Great upgrade from the 4100 brake levers but the top cap on these is so cheap it stripped after the first time bleeding them.. luckily i may be able to swap the ones from my old levers…

Replaced my M4100 with these and it was a huge upgrade! It was an easy swap. The servo wave works awesome and my hands don't nearly as fatigued on the same long downhill sections I did with the old levers. Also, the price on Thunder Mountain Bikes was a killer deal.

Best upgrade for Shimano non deore series brakes!
My Stumpy 15 came with mt401/420 brakes and the m6100 levers are a perfect pair for the calipers, making them nearly as good as Shimano's upper tier offerings.

Installed and then bled brakes - unfortunately the thread of the bleed port literally came out with the screw. Now it’s useless…
Replacement for an XT lever on my son’s bike. I have been running these levers for years and they hold up well.
Easy install to replace the one I broke
Second lever to replace in under two years. The ceramic piston breaks and the brake is useless. The shimano hydraulic disc brakes are oem on the terra trike spyder- a 4000$ trike. Consequently i either have to spend a lot to replace the braking system or keep the 40$ levers on hand as well as fluid and pads to maintain the brakes.

Perfect entry level replacement part to upgrade from old brakes or fix a brake lever going bad. I replaced my 7 year old deore levers that had many parts failing from excessive use, with this and it makes my bike feel new again.
Ships fast. Leaks some at hose but I’m sure it’s my lack of experience first time ever to install hydraulic brake lever.I will continue shopping at thunder mountain
My only gripe is that part of its design is the brace that forces you to place it at a minimum distance from the grips. So your shifter has no other place to go but further out away from the stem and closer to the grips. But it works well, easy install and to bleed. Aside from the forced distancing from the grips, this is typical Shimano equipment . It works well and is affordable and has no issues ( I’ve had another pair of these levers).
