We currently offer both economy and expedited shipping options through FedEx and USPS.
Most orders totaling over $69 before tax are eligible to ship for free via an economy ground option of our choice.
Due to larger box sizes, handlebars, wheels, and other oversized items, an additional shipping fee will be applied.
Most bikes ship for only $200 within the continental US. Bike shipping to AK, HI, or PR is usually $350, but may incur additional fees depending on the exact delivery location.
If you're in need of something super-quick, please contact us directly. We may be able to overnight your order with an additional fee, depending on your location.
Should there be an issue with the item you bought, or if you no longer need your purchase, we will be happy to set up a return.
Returns may be requested within sixty (60) days of the delivery date. All returned items must be received in new, unused, and uninstalled condition, with the original tags and labels attached and in the original packaging. We cannot accept returns on any items that have been installed or show wear of any kind.
Returns or exchange requests for bikes must be requested by emailing us at sedona@thundermountainbikes.com within fifteen (15) days from the date of delivery. Bikes must be in un-ridden condition. Custom-built bikes may not be returned. Returned bikes incur a $200 restocking fee, and the customer is responsible for the return shipping costs.
Customers are responsible for return shipping fees and may choose the carrier of their choice to handle their product return. We no longer provide shipping labels directly.
For any return shipping questions, please email us at sedona@thundermountainbikes.com after submitting your return request so that we can confirm the shipping information you should use to return your item(s).
We will process your return after receiving your returned item(s) and inspecting their condition. Please allow at least seven (7) days from the receipt of your item to process your refund. We will notify you by email when your return has been processed. All refunds will be returned to the original payment method. No store credit or other refund methods are available.

The Crankset was delivered promptly and was exactly as described on the website. it's been working perfectly fine on my Canyon Dude with the other SRAM Equipment I picked up to upgrade the entire bike to a SRAM Electronic Drivetrain.

Went with 165mm on the Specialized Status160. Way less pedal strikes and no noticeable loss in power. Look way better than the NX as well.
Shimano options now share the same chainline for boost and non-boost which is around 50-53mm (too wide for non-boost) and have limited aftermarket support for chainrings. This SRAM GX crankset option weighs in at same or less than XT, is cheaper, and runs a 49mm or so chainline which is ideal for non-boost setups. I put this on my step daughters circa 2012 Specialized Myka to achieve a 1x11 setup in combination with shimano XT derail and shifter, shimano slx cassette, and shimano hg chain which were had on sales. It is perfect in function. Combined with a wheelset and a manitou fork, we dropped 5-6 lbs mostly rotational and unsprung, picked up air fork, went tubeless, and went 1x11 from 3x8. It is a whole new bike for far less than a whole new bike would have cost. Nice bike in adult extra small for a 10 year old and instantly she got fast and started being able to lift the front and flow. The SRAM GX cranks are well finished, have good chain ring support, have a perfect chainline, and work with shimano stuff too. As for Thunder Mountain...they have stock when no one else does, ship very quickly, and it arrives very quickly. I cannot fully convey how great this all was.

I was getting quite a bit of pedal strikes with the 175 cranks that came stock on the bike. After installing a set of 165, I am having significantly less strikes without any notable loss in pedaling efficiency. Installation was a breeze and kudos to the crew at Thunder Mountain for helping me choose the correct option for my bike.

There's not much to say, they are a set of GX Cranks in 165mm. They're lighter, smooth, and just look better then the old NX cranks they replaced. My GF says she prefers the feel of these shorter 165mm vs the 175 mm that came on her bike, and she seemed to be able to keep a better candence with these on.
