Great upgrade + easy swap from 6100

At 6'4" 210 lb the 6100 dual piston is pushed to the edge on extended downhill. So when a piston started to leak on my rear caliper I went for the 6120 4 piston upgrade. Very easy swap (with simple bleed kit of some kind) and *noticeably* better braking. Very happy. Front caliper will be next. :)

Great value

Great value for a four piston caliper, especially when you don't also have to also buy the levers as part of the package.

Cheap but reliable replacement!

The BR-M6120 caliper, as most of you know is the cheapest of shimano’s premium line of 4 piston brake calipers. The performance does not worsen with its cost. I’d say it’s comparable to an XT caliper, with the power for that matter. It does however have more weight and can’t fit winged pads like the SLX and up. But non the less my old one broke in a crash. And I’m only out 50 bucks compared to any other model which could result in me being out over a hundred dollars which just isn’t economically sustainable for me, so it’s a great option. And super easy to install if you know how to bleed a brake. Would 100% buy agian:)
