This chain was bought as a replacement/backup for my current GX T-type chain. My current chain from last year is still going but I plan to do a tune up in the fall. This new chain looks about the same so I expect the same performance!

All was is good

Install on my Yeti SB140 was a snap. Feels like there's no loss of power going from 170mm to 165mm cranks. Paired it with a 30T oval chainring bought separately. Feels great to keep dialing in the drivetrain to get it just right.

Not much to say other than this is the way to go if you want a long lasting derailleur without braking the bank. I’ve had higher end derailleurs before as well and the difference is minimal to justify the price. I’ve had lower end end derailleurs like the NX and SX and you CAN tell the difference when you switch to GX. Don’t doubt about it, get it you won’t be disappointed

Easier to install and adjust than the Shimano non-electronic XTR that it replaced. Recommended upgrade and Thunder Mountain had the best price I could see at the time

Went to the dark side and got a eMTB. My trusty 25+ year old Park stand couldn't manage the weight safely so bought this. Wow, extremely fast setup and very easy to use, especially coming from a 25+ year old Park. Wish it came with a bag though. Otherwise, if your looking for a fast to setup and easy to use stand that is rock solid, even for a 53lbs eMTB, this is it.

I don’t break chains much but carrying one of these while doing some trails with my t-type chain is the way to go and be prepared!
