Tips For An Awesome Mountain Bike Trip in Sedona

Sedona is one of the best places on earth to experience by mountain bike - and we’re stoked to help you have a ride of a lifetime!

Here's 6 tips to get you out on the trails quick and easy when you choose to see Sedona with one of our bikes:

1. Pickup your bike

Your rental starts at 9 am on your pickup date and is due back by 6 pm on your return date. (You don't need to be here right at 9 am, you may pickup any time from 9am to 6pm on the first day of your scheduled rental.)

If you’d like to get an early start, we may have evening pickup available after 5 on the day before your reservation. Please give us a call the day before your scheduled pickup to check availability of evening pickup.

Here's what you'll need when you come in to pick up your rental:

  • Please complete your waiver(s) ahead of time. We will email you a link to review and e-sign the waiver before you arrive at the shop.

  • If there are multiple riders in your group, please note that each rider needs to sign their own waiver. Please forward this email to each other person in your party.

  • Don’t forget your Driver’s License or Passport; an ID matching the name on the rental must be provided at pickup.

  • Please note, our system will place a hold on the card used to pay for the bikes in the following amounts. Deposits are charged once per bike on the morning your reservation begins. Once the rental ends, and if there are no extra charges to collect, TMB will release the hold.
    • Kids / Hardtail - $200
    • Performance - $300
    • Premium - $400
    • Dream - $500

2. Come prepared

Make sure to wear something comfortable; good shoes, shorts, and sun protection go a long way! Eat a good breakfast, bring snacks and pack plenty of water, too. We recommend you plan for one bottle of water per hour of riding in the desert.

We’ve got you covered on the basics!

Click here for details on what's included with our bike rentals and ask for any of these items when you pick up your bike:

  • Helmet: Entry-level helmets are included with every rental. For the best fit, we recommend bringing your own.

  • Pedals: We offer a great selection of flat or clipless pedals to choose from for your rental. Or, feel free to bring in your own pair and we'll be happy to spin them on for your ride.

  • Repair Kit: Repair kits are offered free of charge and include a tube, tire levers, an entry-level frame pump, and a multi-tool.

  • Lock: A lock is included with every rental if needed.

  • Backpack: Used Osprey packs are available first-come, first-served. Bladder not included.
